So small update...

Things have advance faster than anticipated. A CPS report was filed alleging abuse of my stepson by me. I met with CPS after speaking to a lawyer and they immediately told me it was a formality to meet and the case was being closed. They also interviewed my stepson who is rather confused why they pulled him out of class.

My job has asked me to stay locally and offered me a promotion instead of moving me to another city. I will be signing a lease on 200 acres this week. I was raised in the city, but having land in a quiet area sounds nice right now. Plus no range fees since I can walk outside and legally shoot.
