I'm willing to bet the PHD female is wearing make up that makes her look youthful. She knows men want youth, yet she thinks the 6-8 years it took her to earn a PHD would grant her access to a man....after she used up her prime! This female knows what the deal is and does the daily routine faking up her face and clothing to get a male...all while saying"like me for my education." 10 years past her prime.

The mental gymnastic an "educated" female has to go through to justify why she deserves a high earner while being old AF is a feat of strength.

The problem is not the PhD, but women with PhD. I wouldn't mind a wife who is smart and hardworking enough to get a PhD.

However, women with PhD are often obsessed with their success that the solipsism is much worse. They cannot stop talking about it, or start any argument to prove that they are smart enough to win an argument. Everyone is her debate opponent.

Moreover, women can only marry up, not down. All those PhD women complaining not able to find a mate, are just having unrealistically high expectation. I have yet to see a PhD woman who is willing to settle for a diploma dude who works an 8-hour white collar job, or a blue collar truck driver.

All they are doing by achieving high-earner status is reducing the pool of men they could have any respect for to the top 5%, who aren't remotely interested in their income or education anyway.
