Psoriasis/Eczema do not have a holistic 'origin' that applies to all forms of it, they don't have the same 'root cause' of an unhealthy diet and lack of exercise. For some people it's genuinely genetic, aswell as hereditary. It more often then not is very stress respondent, meaning that if you're high on the neurotic scale, bouts of high-stress situations where your cortisol goes up lead to worse flare ups of psoriasis. And you can't really control when life decides to kick you in the nuts, and how 'stressed' you will be over the next few weeks depending on the events that will take place in your life.

Also, advocating a strict and consistent Keto Diet? Let's be clear on this. Diets have been developed over the decades for severely ill folk. Cancer patients, people with severe allergies to certain foods, etc. That's the origin of 'Dieting', not weight loss. People began abusing diets for weight loss, it was never it's intended go-to result. In that sense, the Keto diet, as much as the Paleo diet, are simple fads that will also vanish with the times. Advocating healthy eating habits is right. Advocating restrictive Diets is not. What people should be concerned first and foremost is to cover all carb/protein/vitamin needs your body has according to your own body. (Which ironically involves far more work then a simple diet).

As for her health; yes it's evident she's not healthy. But none of it will be fixed by 'eat keto,drink gallon of water.'

In itself that's not wrong, but this thread was never about 'advocate eczema/psoriasis' treatments. Also, always remember that self-reported testimonies are just that. Testimonies of a few people that that particular method may've worked for.

Here's a counter question, if about 5 people commented on that topic, yet about 200-300 people saw it(Purely guessing here), does that mean there's 195-295 people out there with Eczema for whom that didn't work? or people that where doubting it? think about that. That's pretty much confirmation bias at it's purest.

Now, any creams featuring Cortisol or Steroids are..well, sketchy. Anyone knows that. Especially Cortisol moreso then Steroids. They're in essence the last hail mary attempt by modern medicine to 'fix' the issue until the underlying cause can be discerned, either by the patients themselves or the doctors.

Also, ofcourse sugar, oily foods and water intake affect skin health, as much as alcohol, cigarettes and the rest do. So does the Sun and many, many other things. No one is debating that. But the fact that these have an 'effect' on your skin, does not automatically mean that by eating healthy you will get rid of skin issues and diseases. It will certainly help your overall body, the way it would help anybody else.

Also, there's a difference between spontaneous flare ups of eczema/psoriasis (signalling that it may be a temporary thing/stress response/lifestyle related issue), and chronic, full body attacks of the sort you see in this post. In short flare ups etc it's very common for Psoriasis to be triggered by stress or especially neurotic situations. More chronic, constant patches on the other hand can point to entirely different issues (up to Auto-Immune issues in which your body is directly screwing with your skin production).

Long story short; If you want to render advise, make sure to be very specific about that it helped you in your particular situation, and don't formulate it like the hail-mary solution to all psoriasis/eczema sufferers lol.
