Why would you 'require' sex? Shit ton of porn on the internet. Yea, once in a while I might get laid, but for the most part, no, I do not 'require' sex.

Here is the thing. All the traditional rules for women regarding relationships are gone. Women cheat more, lie more, are much more abuse than men, treat men and relationships as disposable, destroy families, etc... all in the name of feminism. Men in general have continued to act as if nothing has changed in regards to relationships. Courts have continued to act as if nothing has changed, in fact they have become extremely prejudice against men in family matters.

Why should men continue on this path. Women as a group want their freedom, they can have it but not at our expense. Women can't have their cake and eat it too.

They want to act like they are going their own way when they destroy a man's life, so men are saying fuck it, screw the system, we won't participate in the first place. Can't clean us out in divorce court or take our kids away if there was no relationship to begin with. Can't expect us to hold the door for you, pull out your chair, and pay for dinner if we don't go on dates with you.

We go our own way....society will figure it out eventually, maybe not in my lifetime, but eventually.

This movement is simple. Men that have chosen to GYOW have realized modern feminism has become so toxic that the risk vs. reward for any relationship is so crazy that we have chosen to withdraw and find happiness on our own without the societal fairytales and expectations that are simple fantasy. Someone else here could probably answer in more detail but that's what it means in the simplest fashion.

Why does the existence of this subreddit scare you? Don't claim that it doesn't. You've gotten plenty of answers, most along the same theme, and in each case you try to invalidate their opinion. You have also used shaming language reminiscent of the cliched "who hurt you? ". You aren't seeking information or knowledge. If you were, you would already be gone.

So, again, I ask: why does the existence of this subreddit scare you? Or, perhaps more accurately, THREATEN you? We are a community of men who have decided women ain't worth the risk. Why does that threaten you, a woman?

MGTOW is varying degrees of detachment from our respective societies, for the American Male it generally means no to blind materialism, resource allocation toward obtaining and maintaining the nuclear family unit, and a redefinition toward what is successful in your own eyes. External validation is no longer important. The very basic tenets most guys agree on are to not marry, cohabitate, or become servile to women as they have all the leverage of the state and most of our own sex to use against us on a whim.
