Man I feel you on that. Got into an argument with some people a while back over TRP purpose and goal. I said self improvement and living life by our own terms while understanding women and still being able to get pussy if we wanted. I emphasized, however, that the goal was to improve ourselves for ourselves not for pussy. All hell broke loose and those new horny fucks got all pissed. It's sad that TRP went to shit. My introduction to MGTOW actually came from digesting RP theory and wondering if any other guys felt that trying to continuously clown about for the appeasement of a woman's nature and her appetites were simply not worth it.

This was even before I realised the legal system was shit. TRP used to be a good way to understand not only female nature but male nature and how our interactions and relationships made sense from a historical and biological perspective, now it feels like the MGTOW sub is better especially if you want to keep up to date with the legal ramifications of associating with females.

Honestly, I have a similar problem here. I stay for the quality content that’s focuses on positive elements like enjoying life to the fullest, but man there’s a lot of negative angry trash to sift through sometimes.

Couple years ago I frequented that sub every day.

Now, I'm still subbed there and check in every once in a while, but it became clear at least a year ago that it was dedicated too much to a bunch of college-aged guys looking to get laid. It's basically supplanted the r/seduction board.

That will always be the sub that opened my eyes to how women and the world work . They helped show me the very REAL value of self improvement in lots of ways I might have never gained the balls to improve my life and start being selfish which lead to me being MGTOW without them .

What I remember most though was when guys would go to the sub and ask what the " endgame" of TRP was. At the time it seemed like an insane question ... this is life there is no end game you do what you enjoy , you invest time in the things you want to accomplish , and you understand that certain things taking a continual effort to keep ( particularly referring to the attention of women and some aspects of your career) .

Then I got tired and started to ask ... After holding frame to keep the interest of someone who will only grow more unattractive , after seeing so many different faces of women and how the most innocent mom will volunteer to be the filthiest whore for the right man .... what am I really pursuing by chasing women ?

Even embracing certain maxims like " She's not yours , it's just your turn " ... I'm spending a lot of time grasping for someone who honestly can slip through my hands just as easily as water and sometimes sure you can blame a guy for his frame but ..... then what are we really saying? " You will always have to work your ass off for any woman no matter how mediocre or worse than that she is"

I know how to flirt now, I know how to get laid now thanks to TRP but after you see how fantastic it works, after getting laid by large numbers of women gets old , the pursuing woman aspects of that sub lose their sense of importance. I'd rather make myself a higher value man and enjoy the company of good friends doing whatever the fuck I want and if I decide to fuck a woman sure go for it ... but this incessant holding frame and the act of intensely spinning plates isn't for me anymore.

It's fun having to basically schedule out all the women you are having sex with that week but once it's all said and done more often times than not I just want to be by myself after expending all that time and energy , flirting, planning, and arranging .

I recently chose MGTOW because western women are worthless for marriage, decided to be celibate at least until my mid 30s (I'm not even a virgin), don't want diseases, I want to work on myself, and don't want to make the world shittier by creating offspring with a woman I never intended of having babies with. TRP is "this is how the world works and this what you should do to get pussy". They aren't about understanding the world for its own sake. And they assume if you are there that you value pussy enough to put in serious work for it. MGTOW is more "this is how the world works, but the juice usually isn't worth the squeeze and we don't revolve too much of our life around women and sex".

We are so close and agree on so much that it is a shame that there is animosity. In basic decision theory, you first create a model for how a system works so you can control it better or predict outcomes using probabilities. You then assign value judgments to the inputs and outputs (costs and benefits) and figure out what to do to maximize expected net benefit.

The assigning values part is where TRP and MGTOWs part ways. Seems a trifling waste. It's like 2 bass players hating each other because they disagree on who the best bass player of all time happens to be.
