YouTube Red released a series "Cobra Kai" that basically a sequel to the original Karate Kid movie series from the 1980's. The main characters are portrayed by the actors from the original films.

It's a decent series, and a fun trip down memory lane. Anyway the reason I'm mentioning it is that it's loaded with Red Pills (spoilers ahead).

For example Johnny Lawrence (the villain in the original movie) has turned into a washed up divorced alcoholic and a deadbeat dad. He finds new purpose when he saves his neighbor, Miguel, from a group of bullies. Miguel is a stereotyped soy-boy nice guy raised by a single-mom. Johnny feeds him several red pills: the world isn't fair, women love it when you treat 'em like crap, etc. Under Johnny's tutelage, Miguel learns to stand up for himself and in the process attracts the affections of some female classmates.

Johnny tries to patch things up with his estranged son. Turns out that Johnny's ex-wife is a stereotyped single-mom who's approaching the wall and is riding the CC in hopes of finding "the one". She tells her son "I need to find the right man so I'm not alone when you're older. You won't leave your mommy all by herself, will you" (or something like that).

Meanwhile Daniel LaRusso (protagonist from previous film series) owns a chain of auto-dealerships and is loaded. Robbie gets a job at one of Daniel's dealerships in hopes of spiting his dad. Daniel takes this kid under his wing (not knowing that this kid is Johnny's son) and serves as a father figure. The series shows how under a caring father figure, Robbie drops his old ways and transforms into a conscientious hard-working employee and even risks his life to fight some would-be robbers that try to steal from Daniel's business.

Anyway, I enjoyed the series. Aside from a trip down memory lane, there are some nice truths in there about the importance of physical discipline and the importance of a strong father being present in the upbringing of a child.
