TBH... its kind of tech industries fault. They started trying to make tech sexy and a status symbol. THAT's why tech is being attacked by the wimmins. If they just stayed a bunch of low status nerds... we'd all be better off.

I don't think it's fair to say women are dumber than men. I think it's fair to say that they are more likely to be of average intelligence (Jordan Peterson studies this a lot), but saying they're dumber without evidence is legitimately sexist.

This is essentially what the media said the google memo writer said, when in actuality, he said that, on average, women are more likely to perform better and be drawn to careers focusing on different things than men.

I don't disagree what this person did was idiotic, but saying this kind of thing ("women are too stupid to work in tech") just reaffirms feminists positions on the MGTOW movements, and gets us nowhere.

Now a thought experiment, just imagine how difficult it would have been for a man to work in that company during the times when the majority were women.

I am an IT consultant for a manufacturing company, and believe me I know how it works. Any easy routine stuff, the women will take that task. But if there is a task with high negative visibility and requires research, or really odd hours like overnight installs in weekends to support the manufacturing customers on Monday, nope thank you, StarkFurure can you do that please. I don't complain because my pay for some of these tasks will be almost three times my regular pay. But, it sure will be nice to have an option, right?!

And then the fucking wage gap....I reserve that for another day.

And this is with a 20% overall female staff. I think they gave away all the manufacturing jobs to the guys (those pay very well too, as it is very specialized) and most of the desk jobs (yay me :-() to the ladies. Because in my team there are more than 40% women.

If you ask me it is just too much bother for too little gain.

I personally wouldn't claim the women aren't capable of succeeding in a tech job because of intelligence, but I would suggest that these women never had the work ethic to master the skills to do so. When resources (money) are just given to you with little to no effort of your own, there is no incentive to work or learn work ethic.

Yep, who ever got women to fall fir this equality bullshit is an evil genius looking to see the world burn. There amount of wasted resources and energy that isn't put into accommodating women into these environments they have no business being in in the first place. Women simply want to invade a man's space especially when it's comfortable... But notice how you you still don't see them in construction or mining or lumber.....

Imagine if women actually accepted their limitations and learned to work with what they had to cater to the male instead of constantly trying to cry oppression.
