When I go to family events some female outliers (in laws and second cousins etc that don't know us so well) like to tell me that they don't like beards (I have one). I tell them they better start shaving then. That's usually the end of it.

A victim needs to comply. In our modern society, this important fact is purposely overlooked. Presumably you are the one being insulted by women. That is because you let them.

A woman makes a comment about my appearance, I ask her if she is my mother? I then tell her thank you for sharing your opinion with me, I find it very valuable and informative. She might reply I am patronizing me. I then ask if she wants to have sex with me? She replies no. I then tell her she should not care how I look.

Usually she then wanders off and finds a new victim.

The simple fact of the matter is: there's no consequence for it. "It's just words, man up." "I was just joking, lighten up." They've retained their social power.

At the other end of the spectrum, society has taken away the use of a man's physical power. You think the everyday snipe would occur if there was no consequence for putting one across her face?

Think about today's societal reaction to a woman chipping at her man's masculinity vs a man chipping away at a woman's femininity.

It answers most of the questions about why women largely get away with day-to-day stupid shit.

Part of it is simple double standards. I am a thin guy but I work out. After I get a cold I usually lose a few pounds and look a little skinnier, especially my face but also body. People ( not just women) feel its ok to say "Joe you look like you lost some weight, you ok?" or "you look a little thin". Now for many guys looking "thin" is akin to a women looking "fat", its not desireable. And you can tell that it is not by the way they say it. But try saying to a women "you look like you gained a few pounds, everything going OK?" in a disappointed voice. Society has so many double standards against men, some, like this are things we barely think about. If you can say to men "MY, you got so skinny!" why can't we say to women "MY got so fat?"

Not just insult, but physically abuse too. For instance, I was at a shitty club last weekend, this girl tried to kiss me, I pulled away, she slapped me..more than once, in a jokey way of course!!! I can't tell you how ashamed I am that I didn't do more than just tell her to fuck off.

Yeah I honestly try the best I can to get this point across to women all the time, how tall are you they ask, I respond whats your waist size. How much do you earn, how much do you weigh.

Women, despite being begged as the more social sex, are terrible at socializing. They're very passive aggressive, sometimes without even realizing it. Why do you think they can't even get along with each other yet men who compete with each other can still form strong long lasting bonds? If a woman says a back handed comment about your appearance, just say something that insinuates she's fat. Even if you word it as innocently as possible, their hamster brains will somehow spin it to you calling them fat. Do that and they'll never bother you again because you'll just be pegged as an asshole. Problem solved.
