What i find funny is how diversity usually means less white people (males) yet white people are probably the most diverse ethnicity in the US.

Another funny thing, Will Smith (who boycotted the Oscars) got nominated twice for the oscars, and lost both times...to get this...black actors.

First off, the ones to are actually oppressed don't get to pull off things like this. That's not what oppression is. Go back to a time when blacks weren't allowed in stores. That's a form of oppression. Not being able to pick up your child because assholes are blocking a highway? Yea, that's basically being above the law, literally, since the cops couldn't do anything. Imagine you're kid was in the hospital and you couldn't get through that demonstration? Yea, now what.

Virtually every form of hiring quota, scholarship and other forms of legalized / federal / cultural welfare as well as "brownie points" (no pun intended) include most genders & minorities - effectively excluding White / Asian men. The number of scholarships / placements / grants available to minorities / "wymmyn in STEM" is fucking astounding, yet when you try to make a scholarship for straight, white people it gets LEGALLY OVERTURNED as "discriminatory".

White/Asian men in America pay the most taxes, donate the most to charity and get the least back from society. This has been the case since the 2000s and will continue to get worse. Just because you're female or black doesn't give you a free pass to be sexist or racist. Everyone should get equal opportunities and equal responsibilities. The results everyone gets should be based on what the fuck they do, not on how much they can whine.

This is what baffles me... Why do you people use reddit when it is so blatantly anti-free speech?

TRP is the only thing I ever look at on reddit. Makes no sense for me to visit other subs when they can't respect opposing viewpoints.

There are other sites out there that actually respect freedom of speech. Take your traffic there and leave reddit behind. You'll be doing the internet a favor.

I thought the oscars we're going to be mentioned here. Watching it with my half beta dad atleast he has common sense and is intelligent, we both got annoyed at the stupid shit, Makes me never want to watch Madagascar movies because I'll forever remember that loser spouting bullshit of being lesser
