Getting rid of things like Backpage is a way of limiting male sexuality just as much as it is a problem for sex workers. I know that people here espouse monk mode, and I agree that it's better than banging thots all the time. However, people have sexual needs, and I think that prostitution is a good solution to that.

Women provide a service, they get paid for that service. When the service is over, they leave - no fake rape charges, no whinging, no bitching, no demanding more shit off you. They get the money they want, you get the holes you need, and everyone is happy.

Cracking down on this feels heavy handed. I don't know if it's an attempt to punish prostitutes, or the men who visit them. Both, I suspect. Most feminists I know of hate prostitution - the idea of anyone actually pleasing a man is anathema to their ideals. But equally, reducing the options for male sexual release could be an attempt to force men back into marriage, to keep that wheel turning.

I agree with the prostitutes on this. Closing these site is a fucking disaster, and it shouldn't have happened.
