I married my wife 6 years ago, she has three kids, i have one from previous marriage.

Last year my wife slept with a bunch of other married men in her platoon.

Lot of therapy later we are trying to work it out.

Yesterday morning i saw half a grilled cheese sandwich left on a plate.

We don’t leave food out in our house. (I ate it). I assumed it was my special needs daughter who did it, as that is her signature thing.

Kids got home. I called them over and asked them.

Few different answers. But eventually found out it was my wife’s sandwich that she didn’t eat because it was burnt? (It was delicious, not burnt)

Many many hours pass im sitting down watching Roseanne. Not bothering anyone.

Wife comes in pissed off.

“Why did you get mad at the kids about that sandwich!!!”

To which i answers confused “i didn’t, no one was in trouble no one even got in trouble “

She then got madder.

I asked her what the absolute hell she was talking about who said i got mad

She got really quite. I pressured her a bit more.

Her daughter, told her i got mad.

Instantly i knew she was playing us against each other....

Wife was clueless and flew off her rocker.

She yelled at me “you owe the kids an apology”

Told her she was batshit crazy. Apologize for what? Not getting mad? Not believing them? They’ve lied a million times. It’s a huge problem both she and i have been working on?

I call the kids in and tell them

“I’m sorry you’ve lied so much that i didn’t believe you the first time”

She pushed me and told the kids she’s sorry for my behavior and that was the end of my marriage.
