Good for her. This isn't that much of a feminist/Red Pill thing, though.

If I could quit my job and hang with my daughter, I would. But my wife and society would piss on me for even having the idea.

This woman didn't quit her job because she was giving in to natural female urges -- I'd do the same thing if I could, and I'm not female. She quit her job to be a mommy because she could. It's easier. Low stress. And no consequences to her for doing so. If anything, people will praise her for it and validate her decision.

Kind of a stretch man. People quit high paying jobs all the time once they feel the payoff isn't worth it for what they sacrifice (Time, hobbies, happiness, sleep, personal health).

I'd recommend you stop trying to nitpick these things. Truthfully I thought the OP was a man until I read your post.

I've done the same thing, albeit on a smaller scale. Money fucking matters-but not at the expense of your quality of life.

I would've done the same thing. 12 hours a day? How am I gonna enjoy my life and still get a good amount of sleep? Quality of life comes first when you already have the money.

Really stretching bro. Most men do get burned but we don't have many options to quit (How do I know? I've been at the top and worked with many male and female executives. Everyone is burnt out.)

Society has stereotyped men into the breadwinner role. We feel that we NEED to work to the bone and make a ton of money. Society has cast women into the homemaker role. So when a woman chooses to go partner track in corporate -- and HATES IT -- society lets her have an out. Because there's nothing wrong with a woman who wants to spend time with their kids. Unfortunately, that's not always true for men.

the proof is the fact that 99% of the top people in their field are men.

This has absolutely nothing to do with your argument that men don't get burnt out.

I think my only question is why aren't high earners who work their assess off to make $$$ quit more often.

There's been a few more publicized cases of this going on

The banker who quit because his daughter wrote him a letter and said he was never around
The NBA player who left something like a 20 million dollar contract behind because his heart wasn't in it
The google guy who retired at 50 or so because he felt it was time for him and his wife.

I'd do the same thing if I were her or any of those other people. Stash a few million and get the fuck out.

She does blame the "patriachy" and "sexism" though for the fact that she didn't get any sympathy for having a baby. When in fact, it is true, her family would impact her ability to produce if she wanted to be a good wife/mother (rightfully so).
