I have been open to marrying a NAWALT-unicorn but find myself as "MGTOW" as I don't find women who are serious about marriage and I have not dated in years.

Women are playing a game of "chicken", not willing to date anyone below their unrealistic standards and seeing how far they can push this without getting burnt, and some of us MGTOWs (who are on strike from marrying) in response have raised OUR standards (which may now be "unrealistic" but in a different way), thus responding to the escalation in conflict.

How badly do you think this is going to end?

When the women finally try to lower their standards, I think for me it will be too late.

What will the "crash" be like and what will life be like "after the crash"?

This "crash" will be both genders coming to terms with the fact that they won't ever marry.

I already have had a "pre-crash crash" where I acknowledge the likelihood of me not marrying.

I grew up as a "normal" guy and experienced strong rejection by a girl I liked at an early age, which made me abandon attachment to marrying (I never expected it to happen, but have always stayed open to it.). Little things that strained or prevented relationships in the past have only gotten worse and have diminished my expectation of marriage and/or of genuine enjoyment of the company of women.

I know there are a lot of guys who can keep up the illusion for the women, of dating and breaking up with the girls (if they even "date" them) - so will the generation of millennials perhaps never experience this crash, but they will be led on well into old age that maybe they still have time and can marry (or what age will they hit the wall "mentally" or come to terms with that they have become "too old to marry"?)?

What more do you think of the "crash" - how will it happen, how is it happening, what will it be like afterwards, will the system revert back to stronger "patriarchical" norms out of necessity, will we not experience a crash but a continued "illusion" kept up, or what do you think about all this?
