I doubt that MGTOW will have much of an impact as a social movement. Barring any big changes in technology, if a large percentage of men started going MGTOW, women would have to start treating the remaining men better, so they will be less likely to go MGTOW. So it's naturally self-limiting.

Same thing with feminism actually, it's anti-natalist and therefore naturally self-limiting.

Barring any big changes in technology, the future is looking pretty traditionalist.

That said, it's almost certain that there will be game-changing technologies coming out. But it's pretty hard to predict their impacts.

I think just like there's a shocked knee-jerked reaction nowadays in regards to Nazism, in the future reboot of civilization there will be similar disgust toward feminism, political correctness, affirmative action and all that other vile shit. I guess the collapse we're witnessing is what it takes for the future generations to be immune from it. Fascinating, really - because older cultures already knew it that women were stupider and amoral and needed to be kept in check :) then societies 'advanced' and granted women more rights ...only to result in a reboot of civilization as we know it lol

Gynocentrism will never go away, because it's ingrained in our biology. From a reproductive perspective, the more females there are, the more a species can reproduce, and reproducing is pretty much the main goal of almost every living organism on the planet.

Imagine if you would, if you took one man and put him on an island with 99 women. He could impregnate them all and the population would increase by 99 after 40 weeks (assuming everyone was fertile, all pregnancies came to term, each woman birthed one child, and nobody died). If you put one woman on an island with 99 men under the same circumstances, the woman can only be impregnated once, and the population only increases by 1 after 40 weeks. It would take almost 100 years for the population of the second island to reach that of the first. Thus the more females there are, the more freely a population can increase which unfortunately makes males the undeciding factor and biologically disposable. Early humans understood this, and the tribes who protected and provided for females became successful, while the tribes who could not keep their women alive died out.

Fast forward tens of thousands of years to today, and now we live in a world that is overpopulated, and there's no need to sacrifice and protect women, yet the gynocentrism is so ingrained in us that it still exists.
