We had a situation at work today. A homeless man came into my place of work and started screaming and throwing books around.

Myself and three women were in the immediate vicinity.

One of them was my manager. She immediately froze. Another woman, a blonde, covered her mouth in shock. The third woman was shaking and repeating “ohmygodohmygodomygod”.

The funny thing is that these three are loud, obnoxious and have typical feminist views on a lot of things. And what did they do in this situation?

They all looked across the room at me.

Me, the 21 year old part timer college student. They just waited for me to do something. Well, I wasn’t going to risk my own well being for a job. I told him, “The police are on the way, I suggest you leave.” Luckily, he gave me the finger and walked out. That’s it. He must have been high on something.

It was eye opening to see.
