This stat across the spectrum may be harder to measure as more young people just don't get married, but may actually have children in an "arrangement" short of that.

The usual American idea for reducing gun violence is gun control: to stop young urban black men from shooting each other, you need to take the guns away from middle-aged rural white men.

A more targeted approach might be to rebuild the black family, hoping to see big reductions in gun crime in thirty years time when a new generation of black men has grown up with the benefit of fathers.

All according to plan. Before LBJ, black communities were fairly tight. Black men always had higher unemployment, but it was still low. Marriages were strong. Very few kids with no father. In comes the government with its grand idea of paying single mothers but revoking those payments if they get married. If I had to come up with some ultra racist plan to destroy black America, that is exactly how it would be done.

I would not have a problem with it, if A) people stop complaining about racism as the reason black people are in slums and prisons and B) They aborted and did not raise those thuglets! I'm not pro-choice, I'm pro-abortion! Do NOT have children you can't take care of, I would rather pay to have them aborted then have to pay welfare and prisons, I would gladly pay taxes for free even mandatory contraceptives and abortions over welfare and prisons. In fact I think it should be part of welfare, if someone goes on welfare they should be sterilized "you only get the money if we snip-snip" oh stop crying about eugenics we have the technology to make these thing reversible, IUD and IVD, etc, if they can get a job and get off welfare then we can let them breed.
