There is a subtle subtext to whatever conversation you have with a person. If you keep texting her even though she is 3000 miles away then you are subtly communicating "i am lonely, i dont have options, and i am irrationally invested in you." She will pick up on that. I have had girls try to keep in touch with me long distance and it made me think they were desperate or nuts.

Think of it this way: if she likes you she will remember you and will come back to you when the gap closes. If she doesnt, no amount of texting will keep her interest.

I did a LDR for over 3 years it's incredibly difficult. Now we're in a unique situation. I'll answer whatever questions you have but after reading your post you sound incredibly unsure of what it is you want from her over the next few years or however long it takes.
