I stumbled upon a very thought-provoking article by a Christian pastor. http://www.kevinathompson.com/pastoral-advice-single-women/

I am not promoting any religion here but just thought I would share his views on our generation. Initially I thought he was just another white knight but then the more I read into the article, the more it sort of made sense from a TRP perspective.

To tl;dr version of it is that a large percentage of boys never mature into real men because sex is easier than ever to get. In previous generations, the promise of sex for the first time through marriage was the biggest motivation behind young males investing in themselves to be the kind of man that could attract a mate. But if young males have all their needs provided for by their parents and already get sex on the side, what motivation is there for those males to become more independent or invest in themselves.

Here are some snippets from the article:

'Imagine how different the world would be if the only way a smart, attractive, intelligent women would have sex with a man was if he was willing to play the true role of a man.

What if women said, “I don’t sleep with boys?”

-If you want me, get a job.

-If you want me, move out of your parents house.

-If you want me, date me for at least a year so I can see you in every aspect of life.

-If you want me, be a spiritual leader.

-If you want me, use your God given strength to help others.

-If you want me, stop looking at other women.

-If you want me, stop flirting with other women.

-If you want me, prepare yourself to be financially stable.

-If you want me, make me your top priority after God.

Instead, many women make it a habit of sleeping with boys while assuming they can change boys into men. Boys to men is a singing group; it is not the job description of women.

On a monthly basis, I speak with women who ask me, “Why won’t he marry me?” In nearly every situation, I respond, “Why should he? He has all of the privileges of marriage without any of the expectations.”

Of course he does go around bashing men but I believe the modern woman is responsible too for this mess. I feel from a biological perspective, lust is actually a very strong force that ultimately helps refine a man and it probably explains why Chad remains Chad. Would just like to hear your thoughts on this?
