project sapphire was a multi-billion dollar program to fix corruption in the sex crimes devision of the met, it completely failed with the lord commander of the the police resigning over the polices inability to properly bring evidence against rapists- these are cases that included video of the rape happening and multiple witnesses as well as physical evidence

anyway, the police changed leadership, and instead of fixing the issue about actually following evidence procedure- which was the whole point of project sapphire, the new leadership decided the easier solution was to just stop co operating with the crown prosecutor service- which is an attorney pool made of barristers and solicitors who work both for defense advocacy and victims advocacy in prosecution

so, now we have the very real rape cases not being properly investigated, we also have poorly investigated cases going farther then they should have gone due to lack of communication

more police idiocy leading to more bad outcomes- but whatever, i am just talking about facts- lets kill all the women and burn their houses down

I am a victim of a completely false accusation. Long story short, a female I knee since high school began actively perusing me. She wasn't very sexy but I had just moved 100miles away and didn't know anyone in my new town so I gave her a lot of phone time. After a couple weeks I drove to visit her. I couldn't believe it, so I called her. She admitted it, and she was apologetic. She told me that she has had a boyfriend for a very long time that she forgot to mention in all of our phone conversations. That she had cheated on said boyfriend with me. And that he found out about our sexual encounter(which could have only come from her own mouth, as I never told anyone). He got angry and she was afraid she would lose him so she said that I forced myself on her. I asked her why she would tell other people that and she simply said "I don't know" I got upset and called her a lowlife, and maybe a few other choice words. That is when her apologetic demeanor changed to an angry demeanor. She actually said to me "you should be thanking me. When I told my boyfriend you raped me he didn't believe me. He insisted of it was true that I need to go to the police.... it took me weeks to convince him it was true without making a police report."
This crazy female who made the most terrible of false accusations about me was acting like I owed her a favor! And I guess I did, because she's right. If she wanted to take her lie to the next level it would have been really bad for me. I believe that in the American justice system this crime is different from the rest. That you are guilty until proven innocent. I was very nervous around women in an intimate setting for several years afterwards. It always blows my mind how some women can so recklessly say untrue things that could cause great harm to someone's life.
