And it humbled me. Obligatory nonsense about me being a lurker for a month. Today, I went out with a few friends to go bowling. It was Friday night, and in this deprived state, there's nothing else to do besides drink and walk arund grocery stores. Now, for a little exposition, we'll go through names. There's Kevin and Nazz, a long term couple, and Edd, the Alpha.

At first, only Kevin, Nazz, a few irrelevant friends, and I were playing. Then later in the night, Edd showed up. One thing I immediately noticed was that even though Edd and I had never met, he still introduced himself to me, and asked me a couple questions. Now, I'll willingly admit that I don't know everything about red pill, but I've read enough to learn about alpha ad beta traits, as well as AWALT.

During the game, I noticed that with literally every lane, he would give some compliment or encouragement to everyone, even complete strangers. He was the kind of guy who you felt like sincerely meant everything that he says when he says it as well. He would ask questions to complete strangers, and it made them want to just talk to him more. Example, we had a waiter stand an talk with him about his fucking shirt for 3 minutes. It was amazing how he made people feel compelled to talk to him. All because he smiled, and asked them a couple questions about themselves.

I noticed that when Edd spoke, Nazz would lean in to hear him. I watched for a bit, and saw that Kevin would give her a look and she goes into some kind of overcompensating kind of hug and holds his hands. It was the kind of overcompensation that screamed "If you weren't here, I'd be all over this fucking guy." and with this, A few thoughts came into my head.

First thought, was more of a realization that as much as I read and reread everything in TRP, I wondered why the fuck I couldn't get even an average girl to talk to me, let alone successfully get their number. As much as I want to just write it off as being ugly (which, unless the following works is probably true), I realized that a fucking huge part of what the red pill wants me to learn is that smiling and talking is fucking critical. Second, I realized that as much as I try not to self-diagnose myself, I realized that I have to acknowledge that I may be depressed. Which if anything besides considering being prescribed something, made me notice that I'm nowhere near being finished with monk mode, despite lifting and learning shit-tests.

Looking approachable and just asking people about themselves, and making them feel like you value them turns them into your sheep.

------------------------Lessons learned-------------------------

  • Looking friendly and asking people about themselves turns them into your sheep.
  • People hate learning about others, but love talking about themselves. Use this to your advantage.
  • If you ever have any kind of doubt, or have to manually remind yourself to do something red-pill, you aren't ready to leave monk mode
  • If you have some kind of self doubt when you think about approaching someone, you aren't ready to leave monk mode
  • Looks don't matter
Edit: Removed the link to the photos of myself. Realized that I have to stop being a sad cunt and be a sick cunt instead. Thank you, red pilled brethren. I'll report back with any good examples that I come across.
