Please be aware also that even a woman who takes her birth control pills correctly can still get pregnant. Sometimes nature can fuck you over regardless. Better to always use condom PLUS pill or whatever she uses.

Freezing your sperm and getting a vasectomy is really the best option. You can do IVF when you get married later. Vasectomies are cheap and your insurance will pay for it. The added cost of IVF, should you decide to have kids later, will only be a small fraction of how much it costs to raise the child. And the ability to have full veto power over who becomes a mother to your children is absolutely priceless.

Apparently there is a male birth control pill/injection but it is still in animal trials. It seems very effective though. They anticipate within 2 years it should be available, it essentially blocks your vas defrens with gel for about 12 months.
