Thermopylae, Shiroyama, the Alamo, Stalingrad. These were moments of men at their best. I know it means being used and dying for nothing, but damn if heroic last stands don't make me feel something. Those men aren't alive to enjoy it, but their glory lives forever. Even hundreds or even thousands of years later people know the name of Leonidas.

I'd still fight, if only for personal glory and a shot at Valhalla where I could ride eternal all shiny and chrome. I'm not going to sign up to fight their pointless wars, but if shit gets bad enough that they're drafting people I'd rather die on the front lines in battle than be beheaded after we lose to the barbarian hordes.

I am old enough to remember when the draft was real. It is arbitrary and ugly that our government can steal years o your life, at the best, from you. It would be good to see women called up. There is always something they can do and they have not contributed.

There's only one government that has my allegiance... that is myself. If anyone thinks they could force me into a war, it would have to be at gun point. And even then one of us won't be making it to the drafting office alive.

I don't know think global warming has any place in reality. Climate change is real though and that is causing droughts. In other words the weather is constantly changing and it is getting extreme. One of the last times they held the global warming summit almost every state in the us had snow on the ground which was unprecedented. I also don't think water will be the cause even though that will be controlled more. Russia and china are done playing with us. WW3 isn't too far off but it is for depopulation purposes.
