Wear darker clothes. Black works, but darker blue is the best. It's a calming color. Be nice and polite when you're out and about. It makes it quicker and easier to deal with people. Also nice guys leave no impression to women. You're like air. ”Who was that guy again?” poof! Only single moms like nice guys, but they are looking for suckers. Nice guy signals ”sucker” to them. So keep an eye out for those. Ponytail works as well. It's a great woman repellent. Bad haircut is a pretty good thing. Used to be that having a 5 a clock shadow would work, but no so much these days. You can go without shaving for 3 days, that usually signals low status as well. Keep your shoes slightly dirty. If they got some holes in them, the better. Women always check out a mans shoes. So something slightly unfashionable is good. In a social situation it's best to come of as slightly awkward and shy. But polite. Some guys may try to use you as a stepping stone to impress ladies because of that, so that might rub your ego the wrong way. But it's like in an MMO, the idea is to ”dump the aggro on the big tank”, so you can be left alone and do your thing. So don't let your own ego get in the way of what you're doing. In many ways it's good to have a pretty ”zen” attitude to all of this, if you will; Understand why people are trying to get attention from other people, so you don't have to. Watch the lemmings try to impress each other for reasons they are not even aware of. It's amusing. Bad breath and garlic is something I've been thinking about as ”a nuclear option.” If I can't get rid of some single mom in the future. Haven't had to use it yet though.

For work, just have some other priority and make it a priority and make others see you doing it. If workplace drama comes your way, always go back to the employee handbook or company protocol or do whatever you can to shift the problem on to the management. If you are the management then you need to have a book where everything is clearly written out and then 'go by the book'.

I do the hiding in plain sight and understand what not to say and what not to do. It doesn't come up. I don't think the idea of going your own way should mean that you live in social isolation. I just think it means you should never get married, don't chase pussy, and treat all guns as if they are loaded.

avoid pointless "celebrations" religious or otherwise like that french "celebration in Nice... a large group of people "celebrating" what exactly?... bam truck plows though.

large crowds are targets, plain and simple. i avoid them like the plauge.

Avoid "cmon man lets go out and party" for no reason... seriously whats this "party" for? the sake of partying? i don't get why people need to "party" every weekend, every week then those same socially adept people say every week "man im never getting that drunk again at a party" "woo its friday party time! Turn up!"...

be about 20lbs overwieght, wear regular jeans and tshirt with no decals, set a shaver to #3. This will render you completely invisible to society

You need to be that nice innocuous boring guy in the button down oxford. I don't think dressing in black and cultivating a pony tail will do this. Work is a place you have to fit because unfortunately the practicalities of making a living come first. Just smile a lot, pretend to be busy but don't engage on any deeper level - be the grey man. If you are perceived as boring most chicks will avoid you anyway so no issue.

I have responded to this on MGTOW before and I don't know why ghosting is hard for some people. My brother texts me every few days just to make sure that I am not dead, no one would ever know if something horrible had happened to me. I've been going to the same brunch spots, coffee bars, cinemas, gym, boxing club for the past year and people very very seldo, talk to me. One tactic I have used is to simply smile and evade a question or greeting, or smile and say hello but I don't do any more investment. The other is I permanently have my ipod in my ears. This works quite well.

as others have said dress poor, best way to ghost by far. I would add keeping a scowl on your face, no-one wants to know a moody bastard and its easier to kill eye contact with people this way.

So, do you guys have any tips on 'social ghosting'? Hiding in plain sight is fine. I've heard about the make-a-huge-splash at the party tactic before whereby you make a lot of noise, take a lot of pictures, and then you leave early.

To what end? Just don't go to the party.

the first rule i adopted was to never attend a social gathering with more than 3 people.
that way conversations are direct and obvious and its not easy to hide who you are.

those 3 better be vouched af, on every level, male or female.
any new person-meeting should be one and one.
if people are always too weak to need group-think/social comfort. fuck'em.
finding quality people is not easy; weeding out the weak/worthless ones, makes ghosting simple
you have to develop a persona, wherein, people realize privacy is important to you.
asking personal questions is taboo and it upsets you.
not that you care what they think or if they are worried, simply that its moot and its annoying to you.
definitely need the 'no fucks given' attitude
