Well I for one am starting to dislike travel more and more. I fucking hate airports where I'm being treated as a piece of filth, having to go through insane lanes and checkups because a few braindead found it a good idea to hijack or crash airplanes. After that misery having to sit in an awful airplane surrounded by morons and having to go through the same airport hell when I landed. Same goes for busses, trains and boats. Furthermore I loath mass tourism. Hordes of zombies roaming around the attractions in the most annoying way possible. And I'm frankly not interested anymore in seeing other countries. See buildings and more people? Fuck no. And most of the times in climates that I despise (too warm). And this all costing me a fortune? Thanks but no thanks.

I know I have a healthy wanderlust, but it's more the kind of "I want to be an astronaut when I grow up" instead of "Paris is so romantic, let's go".

Trip to hike is to get away from email and text notifications. Trip during summer is to stop working for a few weeks, that's it. Maybe visit relatives I don't hate (I guess I have a few).

But real travel that I will enjoy? Get in loser, we're going alien hunting in space. Otherwise it's just meh.

That shit annoys me so much when I see it on dating profiles. Ok cool so you paid money to fly to another country. Sure you may have some cool stories to tell, but that means nothing to me. Just like I am sure me telling her how many times I have gone to anime conventions means nothing to her. We can I see "love to travel" it actually makes me lose interest because I know she is going to want to travel with me and that is not going to be cheap. Add kids into the mix and that is so much money wasted. I can understand wanting your children to experience other cultures, but that is something when they are maybe 13 and can appreciate it. Annual trips to Disneyland are just a pure waste of money.

A non smoker, non drinker with healthy eggs is much more interesting then a woman who has been to multiple countries.
