I think they mean women spend more time and money shopping for organic eco-green tree hugging consumer merchandise, which they then get bored with and into the landfill it goes. Then back to the mall for more crap. Repeat. Also don't forget their spinster mcmansions full of expensive decorator crap.

Also nobody mentioned all those babies their lives are not complete without. A consumption force multiplier. Lots of MGTOWs want zero babies in their lives. You know what else is a trope of femininity as compared to masculinity? Having kids. With far more contraceptive options and the legally protected right to abort, women hold the cards with respect to reproduction. Ever issue regarding pollution and resource depletion is amplified by our ever-increasing population.

If you really want to help the environment, don't have kids, or at least be "one and done." My vasectomy did more for than environment than a few reusable grocery bags or replacing my car with a hybrid would ever do. Though admittedly, some of the full-electrics look rather appealing.

So women more than men might buy organic cotton clothing, but whose wardrobe is bigger, men's or women's? And how about all the aerosols and chemicals in the beauty aisle, are they mostly for women or men? Women might choose low-VOC paint and FSC wood for their cabinetry, but whose idea was it to redecorate in the first place? Women might think they're green but there are things everyone does (and more importantly, doesn't do) everyday that determine how green someone really is.

I think the idea that manliness is hurting the planet is ludicrous. But greed ignorance and just lack of respect or even common sense is ruining the planet. The ocean is being polluted with radiation. We have caught and eaten most of the fish in major areas. So I'm calling bullshit on they premise. Jokes aside the worst thing you can do for the planet is have kids. And I mean by a massive margin.

Having a kid doubles your footprint. It's probably impossible to live in the same country as someone else but pollute 33% of what they do which would be the only way that would balance out if you have 2 kids. So if women want kids they should own that decision.
