An event organized by a woman friend-of-friend through social media is clearly sexist. However, I was considering attending for free. So I put a post attempting to shame her into making it free for men too:

"I consider the gender-based pricing sexist and I urge everyone to boycott this event until the admission cost of men and women is made equal. We're in 2015 people, come on, get with the times."

Those two sentences are the entirety of my post. I get immediately banned (within 5 minutes of hitting "send"), my post is removed, and I'm reported for harassment. I do not know this woman, we have never met, we have no prior history or context. She accuses me of attacking her personally, never addresses the actual issue, and follows with the expected barrage of ad-hominem vitriol. The irony of her own projections clearly escapes her. Remember guys, women have no shame.

EDIT: To clarify, the bar is not having free or discounted drinks during happy hour. The $5 is not going to the bar, it is going to the organizer who is not associated with the bar at all. The bar is a third-party to all of this.
