It seems to be a pretty common experience for guys to find many women simply are not interested in 80% or so of the guys.

In all fairness, some guys are only interested in a small percentage of the women. That would be accurate about me. Especially now that I understand the risks of bad relationships. There's just no reason to bother with it, unless you've found your dream woman. And if you're a very major MGTOW, not even then.

When I did the online dating stuff, occasionally I did try being more flexible and writing to women that I wasn't quite as attracted to. Generally still didn't get much response. Basically, the women that seem like they might be interested in me these days -- most of them I don't even find very attractive to me at all.

Even if I don't find someone attractive, that doesn't mean I rip on them though. I didn't watch the clip in the original post, but it sounds like these women are actually equating the value of guys as people with their attractiveness/successfulness. As if someone serving coffee can't be a nice or cool person, even if maybe they wouldn't marry the guy.

As I've said, I'm not seen as any sort of prize to most women, but I bet a lot of those type of women would be shocked that I would not be interested in them. And even if they themselves are both attractive and successful, honestly, it probably wouldn't work out with them for me anyway, because who wants to be pushed all the time to try to meet someone else's standards (and they would likely have "high standards").

Probably for the best if everyone just stays single anyway. I certainly don't complain about being single because I know that it's my own decision to not be interested in dating the type of women that I would most likely attract.

It all seems to be based on primitive biological instincts anyway. People are letting that pretty much control the major directions of their lives. It sounds like some of them can't even see the value of people outside of attractiveness, which is a horrible way to view the world. It's kind of too bad, because I know how to be funny, and I probably would really expand the mental horizons of a lot of women, and they would probably also get to travel the world with me. From my experience, none of that has much perceived value to women in the relationship game.
