Pick a major where you'll have to take math, science, and computing classes. That will give valuable skills and good career after college. Those classes are also mostly objective, where tests are graded fairly, and opinions and trends about society are not important.

I'd say it's ok to interact with females, but stay away from conditions where you could get in trouble with them, like mixing drinking alcohol while they are around.

Wear socks with sandals everyday. Learn to play chess. that should keep the females at bay. Nothing wrong with that (e.g. socks with flip flops, chess), though, but it might help repel the ladies, because they will try to get your attention if they judge you attractive. They are hard wired for that. Read Schopenhauer everyday.

Hopefully you're majoring in hard science or something similar, which should significantly change that ratio at least after the initial flunk-out courses.

In a nutshell all women are the opposition or under opposition control. The walls have ears, anyone can turn informant and accuse you so take care what you say. Keep a low profile and don't antagonize the opposition. Trust your gut, never go against your gut if a situation is not right.

Focus on your studies, get the best grades you can and get out.

You are not there to get a girlfriend or a wife or an easy lay. College chicks are easy, if they want to fuck you, they will harass you. Take special care if you or they are drunk, that's rape if you have sex with her while she's drunk. When you are drunk you will misread her intentions. Learn body language, just because a girl is smiling and talking to you doesn't mean she is into you.

If girls don't want you, you won't even register on their radar. No harm no foul. So don't draw attention to yourself and blend into the background. Wear cloths consistent with your environment at school but not to flashy or ratty either. The only thing that should stand out is your grades.

Make friends. When they bust your ass about girls. You can tell them you are too busy to chase girls right now. Probably not to far from the truth depending on your major and work schedule.

Work out stay in shape for your own sake.

If you go out, go out in groups. Always drink with a wing man who stays sober. Wing man's job is to cover your six. Basically keep you out of jail and from getting beaten up in addition to being the designated driver. If shit gets squirrely at a bar or party, bail bail bail, have a list of excuses ready to go then GTFO. You don't want to be there when shit goes down.
