I keep failing to see why. 4 day work week is a problem. Most jobs desk jobs barely need 3 days.

This is the same bullshit about people working remotely. They’ll outsource core company functions to other countries, but you have to come into the office fifty hours a week. Total 1970s boomer mentality. Ok grandpa, should we wear top hats and cravats too?

Some things need seven days, although you could just have shift work and people taking different days off.

Like keeping the electrical grids going, or hospitals or sanitation.

Shorter work hours can work in SOME industries.... SOME.

Mainly social science industries or female dominated office enviroments.

Most jobs done by men dont work that way and charge by the hour for a reason.

So many women dominated work area's are filled with women paid for 8 hours but sit around doing FUCK all for half of that.

I have a few second hand stories of women dominated work spaces that are horific.

It's not just 4-day workweeks, it's 6-hour work days too. This means that any employee who needs overtime will qualify at 24h, which in turn will tank small businesses. Guarantee there will be fees/fines imposed on employers who have employees working over 24h/week.

That's great. Productivity increased immensly the last 50 yrs while work hrs stayed the same. Fukk corporate greed. 24 hrs seems a bit low, I'd say 30 is more realistic for a start. But count me in.
