I was just thinking... I make decent money. Not amazing, but decent, and I pay probably about 30-35% in taxes.

But what do I get in return? I don’t get any kind of subsidy from the government. My employer pays for my health insurance. Aside from the roads, I can’t think of any real benefit I get from paying 30-35% in taxes.

Can you guys think of anything that we net-positive taxpayers get from paying taxes?

I guess the real beneficiaries are single moms with multiple children from multiples fathers...
