Been thinking about the connection between religion and women.

Intellectually, there's no reason to think any of it is real, and plenty of evidence it was all largely made up in our primitive ignorance and fears.

The only reason I can see to have religion in your life is for emotional comfort and social pressure. Men tend to shake this stuff off as they get older, whereas women depend on them.

Think about the typical Christian tropes:

Jesus loves YOU.

He DIED for you.

He's LOADED! In my kingdom are many mansions / I go to prepare a place for you.

Sprinkle on a little fear of hell, daddy issues, desire to be subjugated, the promise of prosperity and you've got a system that - having forsaken all its doctrine and rationality for passion (I just feeeel the spirit in me!) - has been socially tweaked to appeal mostly to modern women.

Atheism has allowed people to have no moral compass. As an atheist myself, I exclude myself from atheist groups and such because most of em are condescending pricks, trashing on religion when a well educated christian can destroy their argument of "theres no proof." Im not saying im pro Christianity but athiest need to get rid of their attitudes and egos. They need moraliy. That atheism is not an excuse to do anything, have no moral compass, mindlessly indulge in dopamine inducing activities (sex, drugs, and drinking, or being an asshole to religious folks.) They need to get rid of the notion that atheism is the one true belief and they need to stop enforcing that. Yknow, secularism has awakened many of us but what we did with that knowledge is just become more primal, subjecting ourselves to the pleasures of life without control. We do crimes ans we hurt others without remorse When I was a christian I wouldnt even think about doing that but when I first became atheist I just felt like I can do whatever. Not anymore. Things were kinda the same back then but we still were more behaved with religion.
