Intro
For a sub that's about "swallowing" the bitter truth, TRP certainly does strike me -- rather regrettably -- as a safe space/echo chamber where some inconvenient truths are often downvoted en masse for no reason other than overwhelming denial and bitter personal feelings. Just because you disagree with something adamantly doesn't necessarily make it untrue; the corollary is that just because you believe in something passionately doesn't necessarily make it true. Often, the most important part of self-improvement is to acknowledge that the problem exists in the first place, even and especially if the problem can't be solved.
Body
It's always painful trying to come to terms with certain circumstances that may be irreversible/unchangeable/post-choice, so the natural human instinct is to deny the facts, find comfort in groupthink and supporting opinions, vehemently condemn contrarian opinions, and hamster away any piece of evidence that doesn't fit into our world view. Just as a quick example, take the whole "circumcised vs. uncircumcised" debate. Even before going into the crux of the issue, how objective do you think a circumcised man would be in debating this issue? Keep in mind that the uncircumcised man still has the option to remove his foreskin, but the circumcised man cannot grow back his foreskin. Even without going into the meat of the discussion, the circumcised man is going to argue tooth-and-nail that cut is better.
What's he going to do, denounce himself and admit that he's inferior or made a stupid choice? I'm not saying that cut is better than uncut, or even vice-versa. That's irrelevant. I'm merely illustrating the fact that some people are by default, by human instinct, not objective with regard to certain issues, because they have too much skin in the game, or they're in too deep. They're just not going to see the truth even if it jumped out and punched them in the face. They don't want to. Consider these truths:
1. Marriage is the ultimate pedestalization of a woman.
The whole "married Red Pill" concept is oxymoronic. Regardless of what married men say or do, being married is one of the worst things that you can do for your frame, because you remove all potential for dread, and you're drawn into the woman's and society's frame the moment you commit yourself exclusively sexually to one woman, merge your finances, and, in the event of any infidelity (doesn't even need to be yours), you lose half your assets.
Then there are more misguided men who, for no particular rhyme or reason, insist on marriage and go, "Just get a prenup." Really? Prenups are a scam and the biggest false sense of security. If prenups can be invalidated for whatever reason, however infrequent the occurrence of which in the family courts, THERE IS NO PRENUP. It is as if it doesn't exist.
It's going to be hard for married men to accept that marriage is a terrible, terrible deal, even if they don't get divorced, because, psychologically, post-choice rationalization kicks in, and they discovered TRP a little too late. So they'll say it can work as long as you have rock-solid frame, a prenup (ha ha), be alpha as fuck, etc. etc. Hamster all you want, it doesn't change the fact that marriage is one of the worst decisions a man can make for his sexual and financial life. Admitting that one made a wrong decision is one of the most humbling experiences one can undergo, that most men would rather not go through.
2. N-count is the best measure of a man's sexual experience and success, not to mention the best source of frame and abundance mentality.
We're all here, because we want to develop the best sexual strategy in today's sexual marketplace. To say that n-count is irrelevant (one of many platitudes propagated here to mollycoddle low-n-count guys who're in the beginning of their RP journeys, or, more commonly, to justify one's sexlessness) is unhelpful at best and utterly deceptive at worst. Of course n-count is relevant. It's an objective measure of progress of how deeply you've internalized Red Pill concepts. For some reason, even on TRP we hear crap like "there's more to life than sex" (no shit? also, sour grapes). Sorry boss, the raison d'etre of TRP is sex. Why are you even here if you choose to be deluded?
And about abundance mentality, how the fuck can one just keep telling oneself to "think abundantly?" That's in the same ballpark as "be confident." Guess what? You can't just fake this. Abundance mentality comes from actually having options and fucking said options. Period. You simply can't have abundance mentality with a low n-count. YOU JUST CAN'T. I've tried it in the past, and from personal experience nothing made me think abundantly and develop rock-solid frame other than the fact that I just fucked 2 chicks earlier in the week, and have a good 10 more matches I've yet to message on my Tinder. Only in that situation can you deal with a girl unapologetically and even recklessly. Otherwise you'll simply be too cautious, too beta, too accommodating to her, and you'll pedestalize her subconsciously like a little babyback bitch.
3. Hiring prostitutes is the ultimate white flag in a man's sexual strategy.
For a sub that claims to be about sexual strategy, TRP sure is super-hypocritical for endorsing the use of prostitutes. Efficiency, my ass. You pay for sex either way, my ass. No man with any range of options will stoop so low as to pay a woman to pretend to want to fuck him, who would otherwise be disgusted to fuck him. You can hamster all you want -- it doesn't change the fact that it's pretty much the saddest thing a man can do in his sex life.
If patronizing hookers are a legitimate sexual strategy, why bother with the whole concept of SMV anyway? The only SMV you need is money. And let's just flood the sub with escort FRs and other prostitution-related discussion topics. Clearly the whole "it's okay if you hire hookers, that's fine" attitude prevalent on this sub isn't genuine but a form of mollycoddling for the delicate feelings of those who have hit rock-bottom and needed to pay money to see some action (majority of this sub, I dare bet).
Hey, even I admit I've paid hookers on two occasions in the past. I didn't justify it. I didn't try to say "it's basically the same thing as hooking up with a regular girl." I didn't claim that it's some genius "hassle-free" way to get laid. I felt pathetic and empty and regretted instantly in those two occasions, which is why I stopped ever since. I wasn't in denial, and you shouldn't be too.
The worst thing about this "let's hire hoookers!" circle jerk is that the newbies coming here won't learn a damn thing about sexual strategy, because they'll simply find solace and positive reinforcement in their habit of paying for sex. To say never to pedestalize women, and then support the paying of women for sex, is the ultimate contradiction. I've never seen anything like this; it's laughable. To pedestalize women by listening to her on the phone for hours or liking her Instagram posts is one thing; to pedestalize women by literally putting your money where your mouth is is a whole different animal. A whole new level of betaness and pathetic.
Paying for prostitutes is BETA. Go ahead, downvote it and suppress the truth, fellow RED-PILLER.
I can smell the downvotes coming already, and, if you downvote me for this, you're just confirming what I'm saying here -- good on you. It still doesn't change the fact that paying for sex is the ultimate white flag in a man's sexual strategy. You tried to fuck her. Or any woman. And you failed. As a last resort, you pulled out some money and tried to bribe your way through. This is the reality of the situation. Prostitutes have ZERO respect for their clients, and for good reason.
4. Money is hardly the most important component contributing to one's SMV.
Of course the suit-and-tie corporate slave who works 50 hours a week would LOVE for all that hard work and sacrifice to effortlessly and magically amount to something tangible, like, say, get his dick wet!? The truth is most men have been sold a lie by society. "Women love money!" We've all been told. Yet simply having a fast sports car and a penthouse apartment wouldn't get you women in the sense that you'll fucking three new girls each week or hosting orgies anytime soon. It'll, fortunately or unfortunately, however, get you women in the sense that they see you as beta bucks and want to tie you down for commitment. If that's your cup of tea, go for it; that ain't my bag.
The even more bitter truth is that, despite your wealth and relatively-high income, the people who're getting laid more than you and having the sex life of a porn star are poorer than you -- objectively, they're probably more of a "loser" than you are. Who do you think the wives of successful entrepreneurs/billionaires cheat on their husbands with anyway? Another billionaire, or her yoga instructor/landscaper/bartender in her favorite bar?
Money isn't a negative to your SMV, but it's far from a shoo-in when it comes to getting you action. If you're beta as fuck and have a scarcity mentality, women are just going to take advantage of your resources and, most likely, leave you sexless and poorer after a $200 candlelight dinner. At this point, I can picture the overworked desk jockey going, "I don't mind, I can afford it." Yeah, you surely can afford it, but what's just as sure is that you don't want to be used like a tool, just like everyone else. The hamstering is crazy when it involves a huge-ass sunk cost like having worked decades in a soul-crushing job with the hope that it would at least get you some pussy. I can only imagine the massive cognitive dissonance that these men deal with.
Conclusion
TRP is not about seeking reinforcement in one's beliefs. TRP is about spelling out the naked truths of the sexual marketplace that no one else would say, precisely because it's so hard to accept and so offensive that society would automatically work to suppress them in the name of political correctness. If you want validation and mollycoddling, go to your friends on Facebook/Instagram. Downvoting something doesn't make it untrue. Upvoting something doesn't make it true.
