Don't. Your frame should be air tight.

Someone comes at you, you decide if they bring value to your life, and act appropriately. If someone is punching above their weight with you, it's outside your frame.

And I like the quote from CAD on this. everything outside your frame is either amusing, intriguing, or funny.

So laugh, smile, or see how far down the rabbit hole she goes. I wouldn't suggest taking it seriously, or accomidating it.

Just observe all the details you posted about these women. You sound kind of obsessed. Even if it's obsessed with disdain or disgust.

The things you think about and talk about should reflect what's important to you. If these women aren't important to you, and they shouldn't be, then don't think about them or talk about them.

Yes, due to your business life, you might still be required to interact with them. But keep it professional and minimal. There's no need to call them out, no need to worry about their lives, just do what you need to and then move on with your attention back to yourself and what matters with you.

And if you need a better social circle, find a better social circle.

Seriously, once you learn to only give a fuck about yourself, your life will be much happier.

I had a women try to impress me because she had a PHD once. I didnt really change how i acted, just acknowledged it, asked the whats and whys then moved on from it

Rise above it. Remember the saying:

Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.

These women are deeply insecure and are weeping alone (inside). If you really want then talk to them, ask questions about them and listen. Take your ego out of it and just listen. Don't patronize them or make out that you're impressed by any of their bullshit, just listen to them, really listen, give good eye-contact, smile and nod when necessary and let them talk.

Pretty soon they'll open up and reveal who they really are and what's truly bothering them. Don't offer any solutions or try and fix their problems though, just listen. They've probably never had anyone really listen to them in their lives and they just want to be validated.

You'll get far less attitude, probably even none out of them after if you do it right. They'll probably think you're a really cool guy afterwards and you might get some halo effect going.

Remember to just be totally cool and non-judgemental. Make it about her not you. Give it a go and see how it works.

Just give them tasks fitting their bloated self-description and make it known. "You know John I need to get this paper checked for citations and cross refs. Susan said she did such work all the time didn't she, could you take the file to her?" And then watch her burn.

Your benevolence is their downfall. You are not the bad guy and everybody is happy.
