Red Flags popped up in my head as soon as I heard this story.

Even if the apartments are Identically overhead, meaning you could miss it by a floor and still think you were home...

How many miliseconds would it take you to detect a potential intruder and then...

NOT NOTICE that the decor in the house is TOTALLY DIFFERENT
To quote dave chapelle - Not notice that "the nigga hung up pictures of his family everywhere."
To notice that is NOT your couch and NOT your TV in the livingroom, the first room of the house.
To notice that, the INTRUDER tm, has his socks off, is eating nachos while NOT watching your TV while NOT sitting on your couch.
A cursory glance of the kitchen would reveal a state unlike one you left it in, with dishes that wasn't yours. Even your fridge would have different/no magnets.

At what point past all these 5 blaring things wrong would you still pull out your gun, and mentally say "fuck all this twilight zone level evidence to the contrary, this is my house and that's MY nacho and put a bullet in some guy on a couch that you DIDN'T buy?

That's all bullshit.

So that leads me to believe:

They knew each other.
She was a welcome guest, AND she came over often, because the door was unlocked for her to walk in when she arrived. A welcome female guest to a single males apartment between adults mean, well, DEY FUCKING.
He felt safe doing this, because NOBODY in an apartment complex leaves the door unlocked, unless they are expecting company, and they know the rest of the world would never guess it or try anything stupid because, well, who better to leave your front door open for than your FWB cop that your banging? Every criminal in town knows not to go in that open door. Cause he was fucking the police. NWA eat your heart out.
The black guy was some kind of medium wig, heading for big wig status. Like he was in government or something, politician, lawyer, etc.
So now we have a bit of a motive. Maybe the black guy finally made it to the big wigs and decided that his cop Fuck buddy (or girlfriend and future wife as she saw it) would NOT be coming with him to the MCmansion life. Maybe he had to marry a black woman to keep it Obama or something.
The white girl, getting ousted from her dream, and NOT used to being told the word no, (especially by some uppity Nigga), concocted the plan and shot him.
She threw the pussy pass on the table as fast as she could and all the other cops lent a hand by coaching her story, then backed off, as they protect their own, but alas, she was fucking a mud man so she was on her own. Otherwise they would have made it look like something else.

The STORY that nobody is talking about is that SHE WAS FUCKING THIS DUDE.

She was a white female cop, he was a black dude. They "knew" each other. Period. Alot. Probably.

He was tapping that shit with THE GOOD STROKE and then he cut princess off.

Now what happens when you tell a woman you are done with her, or when you happen to ghost her and move on and she finds out you've been banging some other meat?

She RAGES. She wants revenge and she'll find a way to get you back.

This one had a badge, a gun, and COMBINED with a pussy-pass and a Half-assed story, that just might work to get her out of trouble.

To add validity to this theory, i remember the day this happened the story reported there was police gear found at the apt, other than what Amber G had brought in, then voila that disappeared and didn't hear shit about that anymore. Yupp something else is missing in this story.

Would make sense I guess... Just like how do you accidently go into someone else's house, then after being in the house for a minute not realize it's not your house. To then think 'your' house that's not even your house is being robbed then murder the actual apartment owner... Just makes no dam sense.
