Red Flags popped up in my head as soon as I heard this story.
Even if the apartments are Identically overhead, meaning you could miss it by a floor and still think you were home...
How many miliseconds would it take you to detect a potential intruder and then...
At what point past all these 5 blaring things wrong would you still pull out your gun, and mentally say "fuck all this twilight zone level evidence to the contrary, this is my house and that's MY nacho and put a bullet in some guy on a couch that you DIDN'T buy?
That's all bullshit.
So that leads me to believe:
The STORY that nobody is talking about is that SHE WAS FUCKING THIS DUDE.
She was a white female cop, he was a black dude. They "knew" each other. Period. Alot. Probably.
He was tapping that shit with THE GOOD STROKE and then he cut princess off.
Now what happens when you tell a woman you are done with her, or when you happen to ghost her and move on and she finds out you've been banging some other meat?
She RAGES. She wants revenge and she'll find a way to get you back.
This one had a badge, a gun, and COMBINED with a pussy-pass and a Half-assed story, that just might work to get her out of trouble.
So she went for it.
I called this in the last repost with full explanation: https://www.reddit.com/r/MGTOW/comments/datbib/female_police_officer_kills_man_in_his_own_home/f1xuz31/?context=3

I’m not defending her, but...
After a long day of work, I hit the wrong button on the elevator in my apartment building. Got off a floor early, didn’t notice. Building layout is exactly the same on each floor.
Walked up to “my” door and opened it. Figured my girlfriend was home and left it unlocked.
I was pissed off about something that happened at work, and royally pissed after being stuck in traffic for two goddamn hours. All I wanted was a goddamn ice cold beer.
Made it all the way down the hallway, past the living room, into the kitchen, and opened the fridge before I realized I was in the wrong apartment.
The decor was totally different, my rugs were missing, but the layout was the same, the kitchen was the same, the lighting was the same. It was enough to trick my brain for about 30 seconds there, while I was otherwise focused on being pissed at my idiot coworker.
My neighbor was home, and came out of his living room wondering wtf I was doing. But instead of murdering him, we just laughed and I left.

Yeah, I got back into the wrong car at a convenience store once upon a time myself.
Also didn't murder anybody.

I walked into my neighbors apartment, because I came up the other side of stairs and got disoriented. It tooks me all of half a second to notice the couch in the living room was not mine. That's all it took and I was out of there. I didn't even get a chance to notice another damn thing in that apartment. No way in hell she didn't notice it wasn't her apartment once she got in there.

I think the most important part of this story is where you didn’t murder him while he chilled on his couch

Wow that was a lot to digest. One correction. Ice cream not nachos.

You know, even IF, she wasn't fucking him.
Even IF, she was tired and made a major series of unfortunate mistakes.
Even IF she failed to recognize the change in decour.
She still failed on multiple levels as a cop.
Especially as an off duty cop.
.
As some one who had to stand armed watches as part of the military we trained in some of the same doctrine when it comes to deadly force supposedly police are trained on.
Such concepts as "deadly force triangle" that being:
Capability - the ability to inflict death or serious bodily harm. ex: knife, gun, bomb.
Opportunity - be within the effective range to employ said capability.
Intent - demonstrated hostile gesture or other such information that would lead one to believe that one with capability and opportunity would be a threat.
All three of the aforementioned considerations must be present before employing deadly force.
Another consideration is the use of force continuum.
Basically as a watch stander we were allowed to use force equal to and 1 level greater than what a perp/hostile may be employing.
So of they are just being hands on, at best you can use a baton, pepper spray, grappling/takedown techniques.
It is not until they bring out a weapon that you are supposed to draw yours.
Now that i have highlighted in some detail how badly she fucked both of those up lets further examine her gross negligence as a cop and as reasonable human both on and off duty given the scenario.
Again assuming she missed every tell/indicator that she's "in the wrong neighborhood motherfucker"
At the moment she discovered an intruder in "her" apartment, her first response should have been to swiftly vacate it and call the cops/for back up.
That is to say, if she was really being robbed/had a home break in, there is no guarantee that the man was solo, it would be easy for an accomplice to be hiding in another room doing who knows what, regardless all it takes is one of them to tackle her while she is unaware of their presence with gun pointed in another direction and now she is at the mercy of two fully grown male adults.
Lastly she was off duty, so nevermind back up, she should have called the cops considering her life was in no immediate danger, more importantly as a cop she should have been far more aware of the laws surrounding such circumstances.
All in all, fuck this bitch so god damn hard. She is beyond every level of incompetent one could ever conceive. Or she is a fithly fucking murderer. Either way neither paints a good picture of her.

Fucking thank you. First question I had about this story - where a woman enters an apartment that isn't hers - that hasn't been answered *anywhere*** - was...how the FUCK did she "enter the apartment"?
I go up to my house, put the key in the lock, unlock the door, and enter. If it's not my house, the key doesn't work. Ergo, I never enter the house that isn't mine, unless I don't use a key, know or guess that it's unlocked, or break in.
I mean, my house has a fucking pin pad on it because I can afford things, but same principal still stands.
So she knew the door would be unlocked, guessed it would be because - and this is important because of the whole force of habit thing - hers also would be, had a key, or broke in. I say "this is important" in regards to the bit about her guessing it would be unlocked because of a few things. One, what are the odds two apartments would be unlocked at the same time in identical places on the floorplan save the number of the floor? And also...well... let me explain this second thing by backing up a bit.
If you live alone, you won't be expecting anyone to be in your house when you get home. So you'll probably lock your door when you leave. If you don't live alone - say you've got kids that get home from school before you get off work - you might be expecting someone home when you get there, and maybe your kids are shit at knowing how to use a key because you're a not-stay-a-home-mom and there's no father figure around - so there's a chance you'll leave the door unlocked. Who knows, maybe an - can't believe I'm going to say this - the apartment in question is...in a... nice area...?
Fact is, bitch shot on sight. She didn't expect anyone to be in her apartment when she got in, according to her. So she either lives alone or knows she's going to be the first one home. So why is it so easy to just enter the wrong apartment? Like, "the apartment I live alone at is always unlocked even though I should know better due to my profession as a police officer, and by absolute coincidence the apartment directly below mine, housing a single male that also lives alone, just so happened to also be unlocked."
Horseshit. She knew before entering the apartment that she'd be able to get in. Sorry for the wall of text, hard to formulate thoughts after a few.

You remember that bull dyke looking guard from 'Oz', who despite looking like a 50 year old plumber, was fucking half the prisoners in her unit, whether they wanted to or not?
That's what this woman reminds me of.

I was reminded of that episode of Dexter with the killer being a small, blond female cop who murdered her husband and daughter.
"Dex Takes a Holiday"

I never really got into Dexter; seemed a bit too pretentious for me. Only example I had of the archetype was from Oz.
[–]altburger69[S] 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Yeah, got that way... cash grab.
I had read the novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter, then the series came out so...
But that episode is the same kind of scenario.

Yeah, that's the problem with shows that get way too famous too fast; they eventually become parodies of themselves where they try to fruitlessly recapture the moments from the first couple seasons that got people hooked... then it become utter shite; thus Season 8 GoT.

Agreed... rip GOT. Really enjoyed the books.

I can't imagine the pressure GRRM must be under now to finish things off, especially now that he's got the added pressure of essentially having to make up for how Dumb and Dumber handled that last season.
Either he's shitting himself every day, or he stopped caring about the whole thing years ago and is just hoping that he dies of natural causes before the pitchforks and torches come to his front door asking when he's going to get around to tying everything up in a bow.

To add validity to this theory, i remember the day this happened the story reported there was police gear found at the apt, other than what Amber G had brought in, then voila that disappeared and didn't hear shit about that anymore. Yupp something else is missing in this story.
[–]RealBiggly1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
One thing missing is she complained about the noise from his apartment. I think the day before. So maybe not fucking but with some tension going on.
[–]22skeet2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Would make sense I guess... Just like how do you accidently go into someone else's house, then after being in the house for a minute not realize it's not your house. To then think 'your' house that's not even your house is being robbed then murder the actual apartment owner... Just makes no dam sense.

I was just telling my brother the same thing. She wanted to lock him down and instead shot him down.

Where is the all caps story where george zimmer tells us about how he is The super ultra alpha male who single handedly fucked 3.5 billion women at once and they all came so hard that it cured them of their AWALT forever and he guarantees it? If you're gonna post a zimmer, it's gotta follow the format.

She phoned and complained about his noise earlier that same day.
