He’s unclaimed me as his woman 6 months ago, and recently asked another girl out. I genuinely believe he loves me and wants to be with me.

I don't get it. He's dating another girl, he literally told you he doesn't want you anymore, and you think he "loves you and wants to be with you"? Why?

I mean it's one thing to fight for a guy and for your love, but this man obviously moved on already.

It’s one thing to be a RPW and a traditionalist, but your mindset is more in line with someone who lacks self-love. You clearly lack the self respect to see that this man is no captain! Certainly he has positive qualities, but his treatment of you is emotionally abusive and manipulative. Your captain should lift you up, not make you feel unworthy of his love. You need to learn how to set appropriate boundaries with your future partners so this doesn’t happen again.
