Don't they know? The more they do this "sort of stuff", the less likely men in general will date/marry women? Women in the past knew about this, and they keep themselves in check. Today, society is telling women, do what you want; there are no consequences. This really isn't the case. There are consequences. Just talk to all the older women who say "where are all the good men"?

Women have more opportunities than their husbands and little consequences. Only top tier men get the opportunities just average plain Jane gets.
The husband knew of the affair and kept quiet. Why? Why get divorced raped. Logically it makes more sense to wait until the kids are older and she goes back to work before filing for divorce. Even in at fault divorce her affair may not be enough to limit the damage to you in the divorce.
You don't really have to do anything until she rubs the affair in your face, it becomes public or she accuses you of having an affair. Other than emotional toll and humiliation, logically, it makes sense bide your time. Child support ends at 18, spousal support ends at 5 years, she may have a job as well. In most states at 12 you kid can choose who to live with.

Want to know why they used to put women in stocks and whip them in colonial times? This is why. I'm not advocating that, but with so many women brazenly advocating adultery, how can they possibly blame us for going your own way? If you have wife who fucks around on you, you might as well not be married at all. I would MUCH rather never have gotten married than get married and build up a feeling of trust with her only to have that trust betrayed.
