I would suggest other MGTOW to stop listening to love music. Your spirit feels much lighter.
[–]oskajoerg26 points27 points28 points 6 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
The problem for me is that most music is about love.
Given that you like listening to music, what is some good albums / songs / bands?
[–]lastminutedash20 points21 points22 points 6 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I listen to a lot of house, DnB and trance. Not many lyrics in the songs I listen to.
[–]Klopaper18 points19 points20 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
trance
Uplifting trance is absolute patrician taste. I also like classical music like Beethoven, Wagner and Vivaldi for example. Power and Speed metal is also dope. Hardly anything about love in there
[–]oskajoerg2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Can you give some names of the songs / albums?
[–]boarderoonie3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
If you're looking for an intro to electronic music, go to youtube and check out Nora En Pure. She does a weekly 1 hr show called Purified.
[–]lastminutedash2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
A few of my fave albums are Lung - Wait Less Suspense, Anile - Perspective, Andrew Bayer - If it were you we'd never leave (a bit of love stuff but generally a chill album and I really like it).
A few other Artists include The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Pendulum, Chase and Status, Eminem... And probably most of the Hospital Records lineup.
Then we've got mixes on sound cloud. I usually listen to The Grand Sound, Sound Territory, and occasionally stuff like Universal Soundz.
There's too much to remember off the top of my head lmao, but that's a brief insight into the types of music I find myself listening to currently.
[–]shindo_arata4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I'm not that music-savvy, I just nitpick from different artists. I listened to the Prodigy this morning. It's an electronica band. Great for workouts or waking up in the morning.

[–]Original_Username71 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
ah, a man of taste...
[–]lastminutedash0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Well, listen to Three Little Birdies Down Beats with a sub... That bassline is nuts.
[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I listen to the type of music where I don't understand or care about the lyrics, or to instrumentals from anime, games, etc. It helps in my case.
[–]Wollishaiser5 points6 points7 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
listen to rap and metal. Redpill and based genres
[–]aoeAoeAOeAOEAOEEE2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I disagree.
This type of love music is beautiful for the soul.
Stop being so rigid!

Just look at any married couple around you. I've been permanently put off marriage.
Yes guys, please hear us and learn from it so that our loss is your gain

Understanding women is the first step in becoming your own man.
You will always be subject to the programming - only with understanding can you break away from a lifetime of blue-pill brainwashing.

I really like how u put an average dude instead of some hollywood actor.

They love me like I love my car. I love it and I will fix it as long as it makes sense but when it no longer serves me how I need it to I will dump it and get a new car.
[–]SillyGovinda2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I don't even think they are capable of that. I love my car, I don't ever want to get rid of it, short of anything catastrophic. I heard this on here a couple days ago: To women, men are like a neighborhood of candy stores. It's not that they love the candy store, it's just about what they can get from it.
[–]MigPOW4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
"For most women, men are like an entire neighborhood of free candy stores, and they just go from one to the next until they find the one with the best candy. No one "loves" the candy store they finally settle on, they just try to milk it for all the free candy they can.
What I always find funny is that when the candy runs out, the owner of the candy store, the man, stands there thinking the woman who has been using him for his entire time, is going to somehow stay out of "loyalty". That's a concept they teach to beta males, and boy do they teach it well."
Many a life would not have been ruined had every man been taught this instead of the Disney Lie.
[–]LotBuilder0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I don’t think women are awful or nasty... they just are what they are. When you not longer serve your purpose for them they move on without any sentimentality. It’s fine as long as you know that and treat them accordingly by guarding your emotions and financial investment.
[–]BoxofMistakes8 points9 points10 points 6 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
Even the most ardent, stonk & independent woman needs a man. They need him for social and personal validation, nevermind financial security.
After a while men realize they don't need women. When women become a burden and offer little to nothing in return for a man's efforts, they understand that life is better without them.
While women believe life will be better without a man they soon learn that's not true. Old women are invisible so the only one that acknowledges them are those that are forced to; their family and husbands. Meanwhile men are perfectly happy living alone indefinitely. They don't mind and often they prefer being invisible. No woman wants to be alone for the rest of her life. I've known some very headstrong, feminist women and they have all proven this to be true. Like children, they need constant attention and validation.

i am 28 and on my way to a new chapter in my life. I wish i had this knowledge i have now when i was 22. But i cant beat myself up with it i gotta remember to stay in it and grind hard to make that big buck for myself. $$$
i came from a hard place and all i wanted was love. but ones i got the love i wanted, i found out that i, as a man of the human world, is not loved unless i put something on the table.
and you know what! life if now going to be my big buffet with so many delicious things!
i wish all you MGTOW guys a great health and prosperous income! and i hope that you will wish the same for me!
UNITY WITH GREAT INDIVIDUAL MINDS.
[–]MovieReviewMgtow0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
dude I wouldn't even fret about it, your still quite young so you will prosper im sure of it
[–]thom92Pf31050 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
yeah i know that it is a bit overkill to fret about but i have really had some difficulties in terms of abuse and neglect from my family. But i am very happy to have some kind of second Renaissance in my life.

The only thing this image is missing is why this is true, the rationale that is.
[–]MigPOW1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Because they don't have to love you when the men want sex so badly because it is portrayed as the end all, be all. The men will do all the work. The women will realize that they just have to be present. They don't even have to ever give you sex, just pretend that you have a chance. And then with all of the conditioning and hormones, we'll do the rest.
[–]MigPOW5 points6 points7 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
At age 59, this would have saved me so much time, money, effort, heartache and energy had I known all this at age 18.
You do have to experience it a few times to undo the programming that TV and movies drilled into your brain. But once you get past that, life is so much easier, you can't even imagine.
[–]evergreen354 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
SHE CAN'T LOVE LIKE THAT
[–]mickenrorty4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Divorced father here, 33yo
Can confirm, you must look elsewhere for that back up support, brothers, friends, family... but more realistically you have to depend on yourself
[–]Centurin0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This was the conclusion I came to many years ago that started my MGTOW journey. It was a bitter pill to swallow but ultimately led to my freedom. Simply looking at all of my unhappily married friends from school is enough to remind me of how right that decision was.

I think the ability of women to completely control their fertility and abort mistakes has been the key to redpilling men. It's shown us exactly who they want to reproduce with and exactly who they don't.

[–]Scaryunderwear3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
No, women do love differently than men. Women love you for what you do and/or what you can do for her. Men love a woman for the person she is & who she is.

[–]naive_artist-2 points-1 points0 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
No, it doesn't. You're just delusional :/
If you believe that a woman can love you the same way that you love her: You are either blue pilled or a woman. Most men would die for a woman that they love. Almost NO woman would ever die for a man. Believing otherwise might destroy you if you fall in love with the wrong woman.
Two discussions on the topic that are worth listening to if you are open minded on the subject:
The Manufacturing Of Love
She can't Love like that.
