99% chance she cheated, this shit is textbook. Likely she banged some dude, realised he didn't measure up/ghosted or next her, and she suddenly found a new appreciation for you.

I'd now be looking for evidence, as you say. I wouldn't place too much importance on it, and you could just go with your gut and cut her out on that alone.
