Just turned 25. When I finished my Master's of Engineering I had 50k of total debt (student loans and car loans).

In the last year and a half I aggressively paid down my debt and did not buy anything I didn't need. I am now debt free with 50k in assets (savings account, 401k, value of car - I know, depreciating asset but still counts).

I didn't realize I had earned this much so quickly. It felt like I just got back to 0. It helped a lot that I spent 0 cents on dating and women.

I think that if I stay on this path I should be able to retire by the time I'm 45. I just got promoted pretty recently and went from making 55k a year to 83k a year salary. I'm living with my parents for now to save up for my own property which I hope to purchase by the time I turn 27/28.

I have figured out work life balance, not killing myself every day at my desk but doing enough to make me look productive to my managers. I give myself some time to eat, exercise, and at times just making sure I'm not overworking myself.

I am excited for the future!
