I met couple of Australian guys who started a YouTube channel where they video and record them modifying cars. Turbocharging, engine swaps etc. they came over to US to do drag week. I told them to make a Patreon account and that I’ll gladly sub to help them out make better and better videos.

You could see in their eyes they were uncomfortable with the idea of someone sending them money for doing something they loved doing.

I’m glad they decided to do it, as YouTube pays shit...I’m happy to report I was one of their first subscribers.

Look up The Skid Factory. The were able to quit their day jobs and concentrate on the car builds.

I love humble people...
