Should've at least picked a 13' MBP - those things, even though they're mainly crap cause of the useless GPU, can at least be upgraded.

Let me guess, you'll want to edit in FCPX on that? Terrible terrible idea.
If that is the case and you don't mind a good advice, exchange it for a 13' MBP, get an external monitor and an eGPU.
