Why would you feel sorry for her? She's brought it on herself and is clearly delusional.

She wants to make some grand point but as soon as the cameras are off, or at least she thinks they are, the truth comes out.

If she has some problem with the types of games made that's her prerogative but she isn't going to accomplish anything.

Just ignore her, don't feel sorry for her.

I would have to say yes you are.

She used the typical feminist tactic of trying to convert and coerce behavior change in a predominantly male space while labeling all dissenters as misogynist and women haters for not being a sycophant or kissing her ass.

She also scammed a lot of people out of cash on kickstarter while doing it.

I believe she deserves whatever she has coming to her to be honest.

Pity? Really? For an upper middle class (at least, perhaps upper class) American female academic-wannabe fraud, who lives a life of unimaginable ease and comfort, relative to the overwhelming majority of mankind currently alive?

Because if that is where you distribute your pity, you really need to get out more. There are plenty of people who should step ahead of her in your personal pity soup line.
