Some time ago I met a man. We work in the same building, but for different companies. He seemed to be a nice guy, so later we started talking online (due to the lockdown).

It was day two when he started calling me perfect and wife material. I told him that nobody's perfect and it's a little creepy to call me wife material after two days. And then it began...

Red flag 1. Every second message is like "You're so perfect".

Red flag 2. He talks about himself a lot. A lot...

Today I told him that it's not clever to share his company's details with a stranger (we've been talking to each other for 2 weeks) because the information can be used against him or his company. He told me to chill out and stop analysing his texts.

Then he forwarded me an apraisal email received from his manager with all the personal details! I told him I'm not interested in his company and his job because we work in different fields. I also mentioned that he might have some self-esteem problems because he thinks I need his manager's proof that he's a nice guy. Then the fun began...

He told me I'm not beautiful (he's obese... ) and that I earn less than him (I never boast about my side hustles which make more than my main job because it can attract gold-diggers) and that I will be forever alone because working in IT made me think like a robot. I'm proud that I'm working in this field and no man can shame me, so I wished him a nice day and he blocked me hahaha

Lesson learned. If a guy doesn't look like a fuckboy, it doesn't mean he's nice. I will never date overweight men because they take everything too personally. I used to be overweight myself (I lost 50 lbs), so I gave him a chance. No more chances, I'm going to follow my own standards. C'est tout...
