I definitely feel rage, yes. That rage fuels the engine that keeps me going. It is the fiery star in my sky that warms my internal garden.

It hasn’t always had purpose, or direction; when I was young it was more an erupting super volcano that scorched the earth. Once I learned to make peace with it, guide it to better paths and turn it into useful energy rather than destructive, I started to see real growth for the first time.

Don’t be afraid of being angry. Just know how to wield it effectively, so you can scorch the weeds and parasites from your garden instead of burning the world to the ground.

I've already reached the point where I think instead of even considering dating and trying to find a HVM (because reading all the stories on Reddit make dating seem to be a waste of time), I'll just focus on advancing my career, buying a house, and taking on new hobbies in the future. Like most women, I grew up dreaming of a life with my soulmate and growing old together, but this sub has changed my mindset entirely. I've learned to be happy being single, and due to various factors in my upbringing, I don't plan on starting a family in the future. I can then have more control over my own life without needing to compromise on anything. Also, as a creative, I'm good at keeping myself busy with things to do, and it'll be a long time before I get bored.
