I don't really know who to turn to for advice, and you ladies are so helpful I figured I'd give it a shot. I'm a wee bit stressed (wee bit meaning about to have a breakdown) so excuse any spelling errors and word choice.

Basically, I have been with my boyfriend for almost 4 years now. I love this man, he is fully dedicated to me and we are planning on getting married as soon as we can afford it. A dream. We had a falling out about two years ago, but it helped strengthen our relationship and it has made us better than ever. I never thought relationships could be this good.

The problem lies with one of my best friends. I met him 2 years ago, and we hit it off so well I felt like we were siblings in another life. He is the only friend I have who isn't dramatic, who I can just relax and chill around. Despite our closeness, he has never crossed boundaries and respects my relationship. He hasn't done anything to suggest that he is into me, and if he is, he refuses to act on it out of respect and knowing I'm with a good man. Idk.

My life at the moment is absolutely insane. Deaths and work problems and health problems. I have been more stressed than I have ever been in my life. I am also am the designated "therapist" among my friends, and it's wearing me down to where I can't function. So, I naturally have been trying to hang out with my best friend more because his house and aura is just so chill and relaxing, and he never overloads me with his problems.

Well, my boyfriend claims that my friend has a crush on me, and wants me to stop hanging out with him. Normally I wouldn't entertain the idea, but if it is affecting our relationship, I feel it is the right thing to do. But I don't want to lose my friend on the off chance he has feelings for me. Is that unreasonable? I'm freaking out because bf wants to meet tomorrow to talk about it, and I'm in such a fragile state I'm afraid I won't handle it well.

Help?
