IMO, a HVM will never turn into a LVM. If he does, you weren’t with a HVM to begin with, you were with a con-man and a narcissist who sold you a fake persona.

I feel like a HVM will react differently than a LVM at his low points. A HVM can be depressed, stressed, sick or even have financial struggles.

A HVM won't be toxic to you, he won't project his struggles onto you, he won't hurt you in anyway bc he is hurting.

A HVM will ask for your help but also understands that you are not his psychologist and will seek professional help.

“HVM potential” is just a low value Male.

Plus I’ve said this before, but most men are LVM. Then secondly to this most men are of low value to you. Even if there were only 100 HVM on the planet, you would only really need 5 throughout your lifetime as an absolute maximum (just imagining personality differences cultural differences and common interests which could set you apart from a high value man).

There are different standards out here. There are probably medium value men of you like to tier it like that. But at the end of the day a high value man is a definition tailored to your expectations. If you thought he matched your expectations but then it turned out he doesn’t match your expectations, it’s not because he suddenly turned into a LVM. It’s because he was never the right value for you to start with.

I’m talking with someone who sounds HV but just mentioned video games and how he invested in a fancy gaming chair etc—gaming can be a cool hobby but I picture tabletop games and model painting more so... he said he plays 30 minutes in the evening and then on the weekend. (I had asked him: What’s the nerdiest thing about you? A potentially good vetting question.)

I find that guys have their my life is boring habits (we do too ladies) and then get caught up in the honey moon stage and then once they have us—resort back to that—sports, porn, video games etc eat up their time and try whine at us and gaslight us for wanting some kind of consistent communication or balance. And then it’s like well why did you even want me in your life in the first place? Then we become their moms, we become the forever girlfriends that put up with this bullshit. No. Stop.

So it’s really about: how does he welcome you into his life and make you a priority without defaulting to bullshit because of his own insecurities? And this question is also true for us as well, you know: why do we let ourselves fall into these pickmeisha tendencies? We hold onto to “promises” too long, etc? Where did the man go?
