OLD questions

I think they're insecure. They're asking "what is your major malfunction? You're pretty and talking to me, so something has gotta be wrong..." so they ask to find out your baggage, your "crazy" level, do you have too high of standards (aka they can't handle you or make you happy), etc.

Best way to deal with it is say "haven't met anyone who meets my standards or on my level." Or else say nothing and don't respond. I highly doubt HVM ask this question.

I wonder if anyone else has the same experience as I do with these questions! I answer them casually, and follow up with "how about yourself?" and men destroy their damn selves every single time lol. I dont even know why they continue asking questions they struggle to answer themselves! "How long have you been single" is a valid question, because I don't want to date a dude who just separated from his wife a week ago and is still legally married, and it's a red flag for me when a guy has been single for a decade or has never had a LTR - and these seem to consistently be the answers I get from guys who ask his question. "How long have you been on Tinder" is a useless garbage question and I usually answer "not long, you?" and these guys will usually say something super misogynistic like "X amount of time, but insert all the ways he blames women because he's single" Its like clockwork!

I don’t answer any questions I don’t want to. I just ask a new question that needs to be answered to find out if I’m interested. Or turn it around and ask him why he is single.

Those aren’t questions that have an innocent motivation or the man is bad at making conversation.

Feel free to ignore any question you don't want to answer or feel is inappropriate. Don't allow him to control the conversation.

Don't answer either of these questions, issa trap!

Every time I do it turns ugly or insulting. If you say you've been single too short (like 6 months) they call you a whore for trying to date so soon. Too long single (like years) and they think nobody wants you and try to beg you into accepting scraps.

As for the question about the OLD, I swear only insecure guys ask. It's like they want to know how much competition they have. More then one guy told me they think I'm too busy to get to know them and unmatched me. This was before exchange numbers and everything... 🙄
