I'd like to make the distinction between dressing well and dressing cool. I dress pretty well, if I do say myself. However, dressing well isn't the same as dressing in a way that's age appropriate or cool. Basically, what I'm saying is that I dress like a nerd. On a daily basis, I wear- sweaters, cardigans, chinos, casual button downs, you get the idea. Do I look good? Yes. But at the same time, I look very nerdy.

I've been trying to dress more in line with guys my age, but whenever I do, I look like a basic fuckboy- joggers, ultraboosts, nike or adidas hoodie. You get the idea.

I don't want to look like a nerd, because I'm already being stereotyped as a nerd. I don't want to dress like a basic fuckboy, because 75% of the guys at my school dress like that and I won't stand out.

So how do I balance out the way I dress?
