Level up time ladies!

YOOOOO this was my whole MOOD this past year! I left a dead relationship, went back to school and got my degree, and cultivated meaningful friendships! I did a whole lot of growing and got in touch with my own individuality. It's mind-boggling for me to look back, still even a year ago to this day, seeing where I was mentally compared to now.

However, I had a lot of help and resources .I had a stable living situation, didn't have to worry about food, and had lots of support from friends and family nearby. I was fortunate enough to be in a place where I could focus on levelling up. It's not possible for everyone to flip their whole life in a year, for financial reasons and otherwise. I hope this doesn't come off to people like one year is the deadline--change happens on your OWN time. It's never too late, and it's never too long.

I got my last dic pic this weekend. I just can’t stand it anymore.

So, I decided to take a break from OLD.

At the same time, my job said that we are working from home and will re-evaluate Labor Day. I think that’s a really great idea and I’m going to reevaluate Labor Day as well.

But until then I’m walking the dogs more, I’m spending time in the kitchen making healthy meals, I’ve started researching plants and flowers that I can put in my yard. I have more free time because I can’t travel for work. My daughter is leaving for college in two years. I’ve been freaking out that I need a relationship so I won’t be alone. And then I realized what I would think if one of you fabulous ladies posted something like that and I snapped the hell out of it! What I need is to figure out who I am and find my best me. I’ve been a career woman and a mom for the past 17 years. I don’t know what I like to do for fun. I do know that a man is not going to make me happy. I’m not going to figure things out overnight but what I am going to do is try to make daily goals and just be a little better for the next three months. It’s level up time! Thanks for being an extraordinary group, cheers to you all! 🥂
