You have two broad groups of rich guys really. The first are the "nerds" that made it big. They definitely try harder because they're excited to finally "win" but they're often not what women find attractive. The second broad group are the rich "chads" that see the women as a way to pass the time, and unless they're a literal 10/10 they won't put in the effort because they know they can get better.
